Stockroom Roller Racking

Stockroom Roller Racking is the ideal solution when increased stock density is required in a retail stockroom. A 75% increase in stock capacity is easily achieved in most cases.

Mobile Stockroom Racking can reduce the size of the stockroom required by around 30%, generating additional sales area, and increased sales, or simply reducing annual rental costs.

The use of mobile roller racking can effect the viability of a smaller retail unit and enable the use of sites that were previously considered too small.

Roller racking is designed to suit the number of users and a wide aisle can allow 2 or 3 people to access the system at the same time. Units are lockable for safety and security.

The application below shows a mobile shelving solution for a leading fashion retailer providing 600 linear metres of shelving capacity including 1600 pigeon hole compartments and 60 linear metres of garment hanging capacity.



This stockroom is only 50m2 and would have needed to be 80m2 if conventional fixed racking was used. The use of roller racking provided 30m2 of additional 'retail' space, and the cost of the space saved paid for the capital investment in only 3 months!

The racking used was 2.7m high x 1.2m wide and rack depths were 400mm for shelving and 450mm for hanging garments.
