These heavy duty shelving racks are basically scaled down versions of pallet racking but for hand loading applications only.
Choose starter bays for individual standalone units or a combination of starter bays and add-ons to create a longer run of fixed racking. Available in a wide range of sizes to suit your application, simply choose the size and number of shelves you need and then add the relevant starter and add-on units to achieve your desired configuration. This 3 Metre high bay allows you to make the most of a higher ceiling but will require a step ladder to reach the top shelf/shelves. 60 posts slots are available at 50mm intervals, these let you position the shelves exactly where they are needed. If you are adding extra shelf levels, please note that each shelf support beam takes up 3 of these slots.
Important note: These are our best selling heavy duty racks and are used in a wide variety of applications. However, we have had a few customers who haven't realised the size and weight of the components used to build the units - resulting in problems off-loading delivery vehicles. Typically, Longspan racking is delivered in component form on large pallets, these will need to be unloaded from the lorry via your own fork lift truck or the driver may need help manually unloading the delivery by hand. Please ensure that you have the capability (staff and/or equipment) to receive such large deliveries before ordering, if you have any questions regarding this please call us on 01993 779494.

Large chipboard decks (especially those over 2m in length) may be supplied in 2 pieces. Please contact us if you need single piece boards but this may attract a delivery & handling surcharge.
*Bay loading is subject to the first shelf being no more than 1000mm from the floor.

Delivery times vary, every product will state an estimated lead time which we will endeavour to meet, we will keep you informed should there be any delays. Some items like lockers, cupboards, mobile shelving etc.. are not held in stock and are made to order. All delivery times are estimates. If you need an item delivered urgently or by a set date please call us in advance of placing your order.
Deliveries are made during normal working hours (typically 8.30am - 5.30pm). Goods will be dropped off at KERBSIDE and will require a signature. If you need an item delivered urgently or by a set date please call us in advance of placing your order.
Important note: Our Longspan, Type 1 and Trimline racking systems are normally delivered on large pallets, components (especially those over 2m in length) can be difficult to offload from the delivery lorry without a fork lift truck and may require hand-unloading. Please ensure that you are capable of off-loading and handling these large, heavy goods before ordering. If you have any questions regarding this please call us on 01993 779494. These are also typically delivered on large vehicles, if there are any access limitations to your site please let us know in advance.

Sizing Guide: Longspan Racking
To calculate the overall length of a shelving bay please add 60mm for each upright. Please also allow 30mm per end of each run for the floor fixing feet.
The table below shows the overall length of shelving runs in mm that use a single starter bay and subsequent add-ons. If you have any doubts as to whether your new racking will fit please call us on 01993 779494 so that we can double-check the dimensions.
For the overall depth of a shelving bay please add 10mm to the nominal size specified.
